Terms of Service

FaithCMS is operated by TODO — your registered company name, TODO — your business postal address (“we”, “us”). “You” means the church, ministry, or organization that holds the account, and anyone you invite into it. The person who creates the account confirms they are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

• You are responsible for who you invite, what access you give them, and for keeping sign-in credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
• Each organization is a separate tenant. Your data is scoped to your organization on every query and is never pooled with another subscriber’s.
• You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store the member, household, giving, and attendance records you upload, and for honoring your own members’ requests about their information.

• The full FaithCMS platform is $149 per month. The standalone FaithCMS Studio projection plan is $19 per month. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to collect.
• New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required. If you don’t subscribe before it ends, the account is locked rather than deleted — your data stays put and subscribing restores access.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice by email to the account owner. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

• You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; access continues until then.
• Because each period is paid in advance and access continues to the end of it, monthly fees are not pro-rated or refunded for partial periods.
• If something went wrong on our side — a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a failure that made the service unusable — email TODO — support@yourdomain.com and we will put it right, including a refund where that is the fair outcome.
• If a renewal payment fails, we keep your account open through a short grace period while the card is retried. If it is still unpaid after that, access is suspended until billing is fixed.

Online giving runs on your own Stripe account, connected through Stripe Connect. Gifts are charged on that account and settle to your bank — you are the merchant of record. We do not take a percentage of donations, and we do not hold your members’ money at any point.

• You are responsible for your relationship with your donors: refunds, disputes and chargebacks, receipts, and any tax-deductibility statements you make.
• Your use of Stripe is additionally governed by Stripe’s own connected-account agreement.
• We record gifts in your giving ledger for your reporting, but Stripe is the system of record for the money itself.

The projection tools let you store and display song lyrics, scripture, images and video. You are responsible for holding the licences that cover how you use them — for example a CCLI licence for projecting lyrics to your congregation.

To help you stay inside a typical projection licence, lyrics in FaithCMS are deliberately limited to projection: they are readable only by your projection staff and the desktop projector app. They are never published on your public website and never delivered to members’ phones.

You keep ownership of everything you put into FaithCMS — member records, giving history, pages, sermons, songs, photos. You grant us only the permission we need to host, back up, and display it in order to run the service for you.

You can export your data at any time while your subscription is active. After an account is closed we retain it for 30 days so it can be recovered by mistake-correction, then delete it. Ask us within that window if you need a final export.

You agree not to use FaithCMS to:

• break the law, infringe someone else’s copyright, or store material you have no right to store;
• send unsolicited bulk email, or email addresses that did not opt in to hear from you;
• attempt to access another organization’s tenant, probe or attack the service, or work around access limits, seat limits, or rate limits;
• resell or sublicense the service to a third party without our written agreement.

We may suspend an account that is causing harm — abuse, non-payment past the grace period, or a security risk to others. Except where the risk is immediate, we’ll contact you first.

We work to keep FaithCMS available and reliable, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, upstream provider outages, and network failures happen. The service requires an internet connection, including the desktop projection app.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

We may update these terms as the product changes. For material changes we’ll email the account owner and update the date at the bottom of this page before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you may cancel.

These terms are governed by the laws of TODO — your state / country, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there.
